Hi,

We are publishing MS Outlook 2000 with PS 4.0 on a Windows 2000 Server.
Our ICA clients are 9.0 or 10.0 running on Windows XP Sp1.

When the user exit from outlook (File\Exit and Logoff) the ICA Client window closes. It is cleared from the Program Neighborhood Connection Center. But the Connection to the server is still displayed as active and when looking at the PS console, the user's session for MS outlook is still there and active. It never ends until a manual logoff.

If the user logoff the server's session from the Program Neighborhood Connection Center the MS outlook session is stopped on the server.

Any other application will normaly logoff and close its server's session.

Anyone has a suggestion to correct this?

Thanks for your help.

I applied Citrix Hotfix Rollup Pack PSE400W2KR04. But issue still there.

alm0001,
I've seen this before and it usually means that the system could not close a specific process for that users session.

You need to identify the process that is not closing and follow these instructions:

You can identify the process by logging on with a test user and loggin off the server. You should be able to look at the CMC and Access Suite and see what the processes are running left on that session.

Hope that helps.

Enigma99,
Thanks for your reply.
The process that is not closing seams to be the main process: Oulook itself.
From the CMC, I closed manualy the processes:
MAPIS32.exe first then Outlook.exe.
The session stopped after having stopped Outlook.

Issue has solved by applying the Microsoft Office hotfix patch: KB834005
