Hi all

I have Outlook 97 and Win98 running on one machine connecting to Exchange 5.5. I actually can access the email but only after some error messages, as follows

1. The service Profile is damaged. Re-install the service profile

2. The add-in "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\addins\scrptxtn.dll.." could not be installed or loaded .............etc

3. Same as above except file dumpster.dll

I've tried deleting and re-installing the information service, profile, outlook, Office, dll file references in registry.

The unbeleivable part is the email actually works.
Has anyone any ideas on this one? I don't know how it got into this state.

The .dll error messages you can get rid of by going into your Add-In menu and uncheck to load the add-ins.

TOOLS - OPTION - GENERAL - ADD-In Manager joegz
