Outlook sends but not OE

We can send email outside of our domain with Outlook, but not Outlook express 5 or 6. Inside everything is fine. Tried to send a message from a Yahoo account and then reply back, Outlook works OE doesn't. This has been working fine for months, then about 2 weeks ago I started getting reports of people not being able to send out. I have both running on my PC and have the same problem.
