I've got a form in Access which displays tasks and new mail from Outlook - it refreshes this info once a minute. When the security update (or Outlook 2002) is installed I get a dialogue notifying me of the attempted access and asking me to explicitly grant this access for up to 10 minutes. This is a real pain - the offending item is the email address of the email sender. Is there a way of granting permanent access to a address fields in a mailbox?

Hi Datawise,
This feature is added by default with Outlook 2002 if you are using Exchange as your back-end. For Outlook 2000, this feature is an add-on and I believe is also included with SR-1. This is called the E-mail security update.

In order to bypass this setting, you must setup the OutlookSecurity form (Browse to for more information)
