Outlook Rules

I've seen several similar threads on this subject but no satisfactory answers. Maybe someone can help me.

I have 2 PCs both with multiple message rules in Outlook. Periodically the rules stop working and will only run manually. A reboot sometimes helps.

Does anyone know of a patch that might correct this behaviour?

I am having the same problem. Have you found a solution yet? Re-booting does not help me.

No solution as yet though the problem has dissappeared for the moment. I tried looking through all the rules and changing the order. If this has helped only time will tell. I've had this on more than one PC and it seems to come and go.

The only other idea I have is to delete all rules and them add them in one at a time to see if one particular rule is messing up the rest.

Hey guys. Sounds to me like a Micro$oft bug that might have been worked out in one of the service packs. The latest one I know of is service pack 2 that you can download from Micro$ofts website. I'm assuming you have XP or 2003?? Either way I would download the service packs if you havn't already because there is a very serious trojan that just came out that does its evil scripting on office suites that aren't updated. Hope this helps.

I have a bunch of rules in Outlook and they all worked fine...

Until I moved a couple of folder around. I checked the rules that stopped, and the folder was correct. I changed the folder and it still does not work. Any of you remember changing folders around?
