Hi All,

Does anyone know how I can automatically reply to an e-mail if it contains a certain word in the body or subject and then move the e-mail to a seperate folder.

i.e if the e-mail contains the word "help desk" in the subject box or the body of the e-mail then I want to automatically reply to the e-mail and move the e-mail to a seperate folder.

Thanks in advance for any tips.

Rgds, John

I'm using Exchange 2003. You will have to create a template letter for your auto-response. Your rule will probably look something like this:

Apply this rule after the message arrives
with help desk in the subject
and with help desk in the body
reply using (template_name.oft)
and move it to the (folder) folder.

I would probably make a public folder and only allow your help desk to view it, or a helpdesk.pst folder. My only concern is that when I was creating the rule, it says "with help desk in the subject AND help desk in the body". You might want to test this out, perhaps my it a little more vague. Like only using help, and then filter out anything that doesn't belong in your folder.
