Hi,

I have set up a resource mailbox that is supposed to automatically process requests and cancellations. It does so well for requests, however once a cancellation is sent it does not remove the item from the calendar. Sometimes it just changes the item to have the word cancelled in the subject.

any ideas on what i need to change so that it deletes it?

thanks in advance...

Does it matter?

It marks it as cancelled and changes the free/busy from Busy to Free so users can book additional meetings at that time.

sure does... for those who are not technically minded, they open the calendar and think that it is booked for that time.

I think that ideally they should only book a room by adding it as a resource in a meeting request.

Allowing them to enter items directly into the calendar causes problems.

However, I have no solution, currently.
