outlook reply line spacing

When I get email in Outlook from a couple of people and I reply, my reply always has excessive line spacing -- like double or triple spaced. Also, text colors on my signiture change so that parts of it are white -- which means that you cant see it unless you manually change the colors.

This happens every time that I reply to these people. They are also using Outlook. Other people also have the same problem when replying to these people.
This is not a huge deal, but I have frequent contact with these people and it is annoying to have to manually format the line spacing every time.

I'm using Outlook 2003 and at least one of them is using Outlook 2002. I don't have this problem with other people using Outlook 2002.

Any suggestions are appreciated

That is most likely because they sent you an HTML mail, convert it to plain text and the problem is gone.

Thanks Marcs41. You are correct. However, most of my other emails are in HTML too and they don't exhibit the same problem.

We changed the sender's email settings so that the default stationary is set to "<none>" rather than "blank" and the problem disappeared.

It is just the way THEY use it, not much you can do about it. It could be stationary interferring or similar.
