In my office we use Outlook 2010 running under Windows 7. Everything is maintained properly.
We are three people that have some problems with Outlook.
Most of the time everything works normal, but for the last two months we sometimes see this and I think with a increasing frequency:
Writing a plain and simple email- no attachement - no formatting etc. All mandatory fields are filled.
When clicking on the <send> button the recipient's address dissapears.
Sometimes we get scroll arrows on the right side of the address-field, sometimes nothing.
Clicking on the <To...> (to open the adressbook) we find a "." in the left side of the edit-field right to the <To-> > button.
Removing the "." and enter the recipients email address works.
But removing the ".", leaving the address book and reenter the recipients email in the main window fails.
Using outlooks <Check Names> gives the same negative result - the recipient dissapears.
Our IT-people say that we shall remove all our suggested contacts, but I don't think that's the right sollution. We have tried this with no success.
This problem occurs both when creating a manually typed email, and when we use Excel to generate emails automatically.
Any suggestion to solve this problem is highly appreciated.
Best regards
Janne
