We recently had to do a disaster recovery on the Exchange server after all the log files were deleted. We used the "ESEUTIL" and "ISINTEG" tools to rebuild the database and get everything back online. Now when a user clicks the "FIND" tool and searches, older emails will pop up right away, then after 10 - 20 seconds the newer emails will begin to filter in. Why is this? Does it have anything to do with an index setting? Is there anything that can be done to fix it?
