Outlook "All day event" won't bold

Microsoft says it's by design. Only time sensitive events are bolded in the small calendar view.

Does anyone know any tricks to bold "all day events"? Besides setting a time from 8am to 6pm to get around it?

Wish Microsoft could make it an option to bold 'all day event'. It would come in handy.
