Outlook Public Folder Shortcut

I am in folder assistant and created a rule that will send an e-mail and have a link to a public folder. I did this before, but I am now "brain-dead". I did create a shortcut to this folder and placed it in "My Documents Folder" and tried to insert it into this rule as an attachment, but the help assist said that it couldn't find the link and the file is corrupt.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
