I am looking for a registry hack on the Open Other User’s Folder function in Outlook. My user needs to access the SENT ITEMS folder of her supervisor, but the default folders that are available are only Calendar, Contacts, Inbox, Journal, Notes, Tasks.

Does anyone know how to alter this behavior and expand the choices of available folders?

Go into the supervisor's mail account, give specific permissions to your user per folder that needs to be accessed. Easiest/quickest way I know of. We keep one machine available for this type of scenario - log on as administrator, open certain users' email accounts, to give the necessary permissions - never have to visit the computers if you do it right.
cheers,

ktechit

Thanks ktechit for the help! I wonder, though, whether doing that will make the folder available through the drop-down menu? I suppose I will have to try it.

Next week, after Christmas, should be slow...hopefully get to it then.
