It seems that 2 (of Many) personal folders are missing. If I go back to the backup tape, the old pst file will overide the new information (of Many). Any suggestions of how to proceed????Can I backup to another folder and get Outlook to look at the folder just to print out the info needed?
Thanks.

You can restore to the same or another folder using another name for the .PST file and have both the old and new available in outlook.

You can then drag and drop what you want from the old to the new or keep it sepeate.

How do you get Outlook to read the new new folder? I was thinking of renaming the old restoring the new but your idea seems better. Please give a few more details. Thanks.

In Outlook go to File>New>Pesonal Folder Files (PST).

You will get the standard dialog box to find the *.PST file and add it to Outlook. You can pick one already created or create a new one.

My above information is not quite correct.

To add an existing .pst folder to outlook go to File>Open>Personal Folder Files (PST).

PST folders are as a rule stored in C:/Windows/Application Data/Microst/Outlook
