Outlook Permission Denied

Outlook 2003 sp3 We have the users "My Documents" folder redirected to a windows fileserver. When the user is creating an email and attempts to attach a file from "My Documents" they receive a permission denied error. The user can access their "My documents" folder and if you type the full path to the location on the server you initially get a permission error but when you hit OK it lets you in. I have verified share permissions and this is the only user with this issue.

Any ideas?

Can you try creating a new user profile, or else have a different user log onto the same machine in order to narrow down the possible problem(s)?
