outlook performing spell check in U.S instead of U.K

ok i am having a perculiar problem with outlook hopefully someone out here can help.

i have a user with outlook 2003 with all spell check settings set to English U.K however when she spell checks it still comes up and does it in English U.S ive had a look at the settings but cant seem to find anything anyone able to help?

oh she is using word in conjunction with outlook

I have a similar problem, My email is set to use Word (2003) as my email editor and if I start a new email it uses the UK spell checker but if I reply to an email it uses US checker, it drives me nuts. Any help will be appreciated.

have you tried tools / options and spellings and made sure that the spellchecker is set to UK??
