Outlook overwrites PST file

I have a group policy Server 2008 to redirect outlook pst files to a file server. Also running VMWare View 4.5. Just the last couple days one user is loosing their pst file. I was able to restore it and the following day same problem. I have not been able to recreate the problem on my own. (logged the user off, restarted the session.

The file is located \\csc-ad01\Profiles\%username%\

For some reason I had to name it outlook1.pst

You understand, right, that not only is this not supported, but Microsoft has repeatedly said not to do this?
