Outlook not reopening?

having opened outlook and checked my mail I proceeded to close outlook, when i attempted to re-open outlook 10 minutes later it would not open? any ideas?

hit ctrl alt esc to open task manager and look under processes for outlook.exe highlight it and end process, then open outlook.

thats ctrl shift esc, not ctrl alt esc.. you can also do ctrl alt delete, and click task manager.

thank you very much. Is there anyway of changing something in the settings so that it will reopen when clicked?
