I'm setting up OutlookXP on a portable and would like it to use our network for internet access where possible and dial-up where not. I've set this up many times in Outlook Express but this version does not seem to be behaving itself.
I've told Outlook to dial whenever a network is not present(via the account "connection" tab) but it seems to ignore this - and fails to attempt to dial when disconnected from our LAN.
Any ideas? I'm also using XP's 'offline files' feature - is this confusing Outlook into thinking it's always connected to my LAN?
