Outlook Meeting Request Issue

Hi Folks,

A couple of users, myself included, are experiencing an issue with Outlook Meetings. If I try and reschedule a meeting it tells me that the meeting is being modified by another issue and can't be moved and it creates a copy of the meeting instead.

This appears to be intermittent. Has anyone else experienced this issue?

Well, it sounds like a couple of possibilities:
1. Network connectivity issues, but you'd likely see other symptoms along with this, unrelated to Outlook I would think.
2. Multiple users having access to the same calendar - one person could open it, forget about it, and leave it open, when the next person tries to open it... so it's already in use.

That's where I'd look first.

Thanks for the suggestions. Don't think that it is network related as not seeing any other issues.

Also, don't think the second issue is an option either as no other users have access to my calendar and I am seeing this issue.

My next guess would be some software no the Exchange server, assuming it's on a server setup. There could be a security or maintenance app that happened to run, locking the files at the particular time - virus scan, defrag, etc..
