We've installed Outlook 98 and have the following problem:
Outlook is installed als Internet Only.
When a meeting required, the meeting will be sent to all users but will be arrived only as a normal e-mail :-( with the following content:
-------------------------------------
Tijd: maandag 3 december 2001 9:00-9:30 (GMT+01:00) Amsterdam, Kopenhagen,
Madrid, Parijs, Vilnius.
Locatie: here

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

-------------------------------------
I think the problem is the string *~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~* that will not be recognized as a meeting request.

Can anyone help me with this problem??? :)

Jos

I think it is because you are using the Internet Mail transport service and have not chosen to send e-mail to the recipient in Rich Text Format (RTF).

Select the Internet Mail option for sending e-mail in RTF for each recipient.

To select the RTF sending option for a contact, follow these steps:

1. Open a contact.

2. Double-click the e-mail address.

3. On the Address tab, click to select "Always send to this recipient in Microsoft Outlook rich-text format" and then click OK.

4. Click Save And Close.

Selecting the RTF Sending Option for Personal Address Book Entries

To select the RTF sending option for Personal Address Book entries, follow these steps:

1. In the Inbox view, click Address Book on the Tools menu.

2. In the "Show Names from the" list, click Personal Address Book.

3. Double-click the recipient's entry.

4. On the STMP - Address tab, click to select the "Always send to this recipient in Microsoft Outlook rich-text format" check box, and then click OK.

5. Close the Address book.
