Attempting a mail merge in Outlook 2000 (Win2000 professional and Office 2000 installed).
After clicking OK dialogue comes up "Initializing Microsoft Word".
After a few seconds error message:
"The program for the attachment may not have been installed properly or may have been moved or deleted. Reinstall the program in which the attachement was created".
Regardless of which mail merge options are selected the results are the same. Word is supposed to open up the document to be merged and allow the user to insert fields from Outlook. 2 of 12 users with 'identical' setups have this problem the other 10 do not. Uninstall/reinstall of Office 2000 yields no improvement.
Any suggestions please )?
