Outlook lost all data and settings

I am running outlook xp on win xp and all of my outlook data has gone. Emails, accounts, folders everything. It is like I have a complete new install. I have searched for my .pst file but am unable to locate it, is there any way to retrieve this. I am assuming that the problem is a missing pst file.

If anyone has any ideas on this I would be very grateful.

I've found it now, I just needed to turn on the search hidden files and folders option
