Outlook keeps on locking up

Ok I was battling this problem all last week. One of are sales staff shut off their auto archive and let his PST file get to 2gig and 147mb so just a little big. I downloaded the PST2gb and cut 150mb out just to get it under 2gig. I ran the scanpst repair utility on the pst. I was able to finally read the file and I archived so and deleted others to get it to 1.3gig. I then loaded the PST back on their computer and tried it through out the day with no problems. They try it the next day 4hours into the day it locks up again. now I am stuck why would it keep locking up ???

More info please. Which version of outlook and exchange or standalone?

This is outlook 2000, My email server workgroup mail.

I have moved her to outlook express and she is working fine now. I have two sys on my network that have this problem so any help would be great thanks.
