Outlook keeps closing

I have a user that is on Outlook 2002 on Windows XP. Just recently Outlook started to close on its own shortly after it was opened. I have checked and made sure that Office and Windows have the most recent service pack and that the computer is virus free. I have also removed and reinstalled Office.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Hi

1. Make sure the .PST file in question is under the dreaded 2 gig size limitation.

2. Try running the inbox repair tool (scanpst.exe) against the PST. MAKE A BACKUP OF THE PST FILE FIRST!!!

Thanks. I looked on her PC but could not find the PST file.

.PST found, not very big, but did run the .exe. So far so good. The scan however did not find any error. But it would have shut down by now.
