Outlook 2003 with three e-mail accounts set up. Currently all mail is going into one box (INBOX). I have created three new inboxes, INBOX-FRED, INBOX-JIM and INBOX-SUSAN all within the same personal folder so that they are easily visible on screen. However, I cannot see how to direct incoming mail into the appropriate box. Oulook's instructions for "Specify where new messages are delivered" doesn't appear to offer the option to put Fred's mail in Fred's box etc.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Well I've looked in Rules, but since it is not giving me the option I want, I must assume Outlook is unable to handle this simple request.

Unless someone can advise me otherwise...

Roger.

have a nother look.

Rules Wizard
Start from a blank rule
check messages when they arrive
through the specified account
move it to the specified folder

Repeat for each account and you're done.

Ok, thanks dhulbert. Never had occasion to use Rules before, and was slightly confused by it! LOL. Got to grips with it now, and all works fine thanks.
