Outlook in Office XP not saving password

Hi,

Every time I send/receive email I am prompted for a password in Outlook even though I have checked the option to save the password for connecting to my ISP. I have installed Office XP on Windows Vista. Does anyone have any idea why the password is not being saved? Doe Vista somehow prevent this. I did not experience the same problem with Office 2000 installed on Windows XP.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
