Hello,

I'm having a funny issue where a user writes an email in Outlook 2003 (using Word as the editor) and then sends the email on. The person who receives the email is unable to see anything in the body, but if they click reply or forward the text then appears in the body.

Also, if the user turns on 'Show/Hide' editing feature in Outlook they can see the text in the body.

Does anyone know a fix for this problem?

Thanks,

Matty

Does the problem only affect the one person receiving mail from this user, or anyone receiving mail from this user?

Hi furtech,

Had a the same problem which affected my PC and that of two or three users.

Non technical fix was a reboot.

I believe that an update went through recently which may have altered internet/activeX security settings?

Given that some people have embedded logos in their email signatures, I took it to mean that those senders with 'offending email signatures' (could be any other embedded content though really were the root of the cause).

All fine post reboot.

Comments welcome.

I found that selecting Font, in Word, and unticking 'hidden' fixed the problem

Thanks,
