My Outlook (2000)seems to chewing up resources now to the point that I can't even open up my e-mail. Only started lately after a couple of years with no problems. I'm running Win 98, 128 mb ram. I've scanned for viruses using mine (AVG), and a couple of online as well. I've used Spybot and Adaware, and nothing helps. Any ideas!

My immediate answer is to use another client (Pegasus). I'd be interested to hear thoughts about e-mail clients, especially one that can work with AVG, or that have built in virus protection.

Cheers!

Try running the repair function first, something could be corrupted.
