Outlook Hangs on Laptops

My Laptop users are continually complaining that Outlook 2000 causes the laptop to hang two to three times a day. The only recourse is to re-boot. We are running Windows 2000 Professional on all laptops woth MS Office 2000. We have an Exchange 5.5 server. We also are in a NT 4 domain. Has anyone else seen this or have suggestions?

Are the laptops trying to Send/Recieve and perhaps hanging because they can't reach the Server.
