After using the group by function in outlook 97, I still have a grayed out area above the letters display and below the menus that says "Drag a column header here to group by that column." I've gone into the group by menu and requested clear all, but that box won't go away. What am I missing?

Outlook group by changes view

The way to clear the Group by box:
On the toolbar go to view toolbars and click on the advanced toolbar. Then go to the third button from the left, and click on the group by box. If it is not the third button, hover over each button to you see group by box,and click it . This will solve your problem
