Is there a way to sync Goldmine contacts/calendar items with Outlook automatically? I know how to sync normally, even with the one-button option.. but how can I set this up to recur at certain intervals?

Thanks

You'd want to use the Server Agent for this. Tools|Server Agents.

Starting the server agents upon login can be accomplished with a command line switch that plays a recorded macro... Otherwise, just start them manually and you'll be good until you restart GoldMine again..

The only other way is if you have Exchange and GoldMine Corporate Edition you can use GISME to provide automatic two way sync of contacts and calendar.

Ah I see. The automated Server Agent works great. Thanks! One quick question though. With Outlook 2003, it informs me that Goldmine is attempting to access Outlook, and gives me the option of saying "Yes" to allow, "No" to not, and then a checkbox with a time interval for how long it can access it. When I choose yes without picking a time interval (so it will stop asking me for access rights), it goes back to the same pop-up window. Slightly annoying if I have to do this every 10 minutes. Has anyone found a way around this? This may also be a post for an Outlook forum, but I was hoping other people here have had the same problem.

Thanks again,
Allen
