Hi,
We have FR3 and version 8 of the client. We run Citrix with terminal services. The same problem was ocurring when we had v7 of the client and a previous FR.

When Outlook starts up and the inbox appears, Outlook completely freezes. Other applications are fine, but we think this is something to do with calendar popups, Outlook generating child windows.

If anyone has come across Outlook freezing in Citrix and knows how to correct, that would be great, thanks.

Thanks, but it's Office 2000 SP3. Talking about XP though, my users reckon this issue began when Windows XP was installed onto the PCs in the office, that access the network directly (not remotely via Citrix and Terminal Services). It was done before I joined the company. I'm beginning to wonder if the issue can be to do with the roaming profiles that users have.

I have been having the same issue, but only for users connecting via CSG. Long/random pauses. I found an interesting thread that suggested optimizations on both the Citrix and Exchange servers...

"MinFreeconnections"=dword:00000020

Feedback anyone?
