Outlook freezes when set to MS Exchange

I have a bunch of client PCs.
Some have Outlook 2000, some Outlook 98.

Outlook runs fine when not linked to the
Exchange Server.

As soon as I turn Internet Mail off
and MS Exchange on, Outlook freezes
when loading. This does not ocurr
on all the PCs on the network, just some.

Can anyone help?

Sounds like they cannot see the Exchange server.

Control panel, mail. Exchange server props. Check server and user names. change the name slightly and do check name. [sig]<p>Zel<br><a href=mailto:zel@zelandakh.co.uk>zel@zelandakh.co.uk</a><br><a href= > </a><br> [/sig]

Probably a name resolution problem.

Try entering the Exchange server name and IP adress in the LMHOSTS file.
