Outlook Express

My outlook express will not open I click the icon hour glass comes up for a sec then it does nothing I have win 98 and I have reinstalled it several times. Is there anyone out there with a solution. This is driving me crazy. I love my outlook!!!! thanks

I had this happen on one '98 machine and only solved it by upgrading from IE 5.0 to IE 5.5 and included Outlook Express as part of it.

I did that however, it still will not open---any other suggestions?

the only other thing I can guess, is an uninstall of Outlook Express and then again install Outlook 5.5 (IE 5.5)
