Is it possible to uninstall outlook express? I never use it.

The bst answer I believe if you have Service Pack 1 installed is to disable it.
Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs, Set Program Access and Defaults, Custom, and set the checkmark to use another program as the Default email client.
Then go to Outlook Express itself, and remove any and all accounts that might be there.
Finally, Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs, Windows Compnents Add/Remove, and uncheck Outlook Express. Ok your settings all the way back to the Desktop.
