When I use Outlook Express offline, it has a tendency to lockup. Any ideas?

Maybe it is set to look for new messages every now and again..? However, first time I heard about this sort of problem with OE. BTW, what version is it?

The version of OE I have is 4.0 with some patch upgrades.<br>
