Outlook Express works, Outlook does not

On the same machine, Outlook has incoming email issues, where the identical seetting in Outlook Express does not.

Tried reinstall, winsockfix.

If I delete the account in Outlook they sometimes work until a reboot, then I cannot recieve in Outlook. Outlook Express remain fine!

Can anyone suggest a fix?

Can you explain the problem in more detail?

did you set both OE and Outlook up manually or did you import the settings from OE into Outlook?

It's also possible that a software firewall could stop one and allow the other, even if they both had the same mail server settings.
