I set up my mail accounts in Outlook Express 6 using Windows XP Home. I get through all the dialog boxes putting in all the information and making sure I have a check in the box for windows to remember my password. No sooner than going to the next dialog box the password is removed from where you insert it to save it. Very frustrating. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,

Go ahead and finish setting up the account; close then restart OE. Then with OE open click the Tools menu; Point to Accounts; click the Mail tab; click Properties on the right; Click the General tab; Enter all the information requested in the Name, e-mail address and Reply Address boxes. Click the Servers tab; Enter all the requested information in the pop, smtp, account name and Password boxes. Click Apply; Click Ok to all subsequent screens to exit. Close OE then restasrt as desired.

Also, call your ISP's technical support for help with these and other connectivity issues to ensure all your OE settings are correct. Emachines, Celeron 600, 256 Mb RAM, 10 Gb HDD, ADSL.
