outlook express won't open please help

since trying to remove a spam email yesterday (possible virus)I have been unable to open my OE at all. It just starts to open the logo/connect page then locks up completely.
I desperatly need to get my OE up and running again to receive urgent work emails. It will take to long to set up another pc and please don't suggest formatting !..or using another browser.

Does anyone know how to repair outlook express or uninstall and re-install OE ?

I have finally solved the problem.
My OE inbox was full up!
Apparently when your OE folders reach a certain point they prevent outlook express from opening at all!?

This means you are unable to get into your folders to delete/remove emails to correct the problem .

Got round the problem by removing my `inbox' folder from `Windows Explorer' and substituting another empty `inbox' folder from another PC.

OE works perfectly again.
I now have to find a way of salvaging my emails from the other inbox folder.

Hope this helps someone else that inexplicably loses their OE without any error messages.
