Outlook Express spell checks in French

My Outlook Express is apparently spell checking in French. The reason I believe is because the Custom Dictionary (Tools/Options/Spelling)is set to French. English is not available to be selected.

I don't know what version of OE this is, but this is an XP Pro PC with IE 7. I just upgraded a few days ago to Office 2007, but wouldn't think this has anything to do with it.

Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.
