Outlook Express Language Setting

I cannot seem to change the language setting of OE spell check. I have gone to Tools/Options and clicked on the Spelling tab. The language is set to French. I change it to English but that does not help. It reverts back to French after I close the options box. Does anyone know how to possibly fix this?

i just simulated the same problem you had and changed it the only way that it stuck in there was to change the keyboard language to english uk aswell
control panel
keyboard
add
uk english
then remove the french setting from there and the uk english setting will allow outlook to have the uk settings as standard
