Outlook Express/IE download

downloaded the update for internet explorer it put outlook express "everywhere" (desktop etc..) does anyone know why this happened or what can be done to prevent this.

Outlook Express is part of the Internet Explorer package. If you don't want it, just delete the icons. As far as I know, the program cannot be removed seperately.

Ageed. Just delete the icons. Do not uninstall Outlook Express as this will cause you no end to grief with other MS Office programs (ie. Outlook).
