Outlook Express gets send error when auth on relay

Hi,

I am trying to take anonymous authentication off of my smtp virtual server. When I do I get this message from outlook express when I try to send email:

The message could not be sent because the server rejected the sender's e-mail address. The sender's e-mail address was 'alan@mydomain.com'. Subject 'ytest', Account: 'mail.mydomain.com', Server: 'mail.mydomain.com', Protocol: SMTP, Server Response: '454 5.7.3 Client does not have permission to Send As this sender.', Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 454, Error Number: 0x800CCC78

Any help is surely appreciated.
