Windows XP
Outlook Express
After running a registry cleaner (System Mechanic), I noticed that one of the folders in Outlook Express could not be opened. With the name of the folder still in the folder list, when I tried to open the folder, the screen would shake but the folder would not open. I shut down the machine and today, the folder is no longer on the folder list. I know that the data is not lost because the folder is still present on the hard drive with the extension .dbx.
Tentative conclusions:
1. System Mechanic deleted a registry entry that eliminated this folder in my folder list.
Anyone know how I can recapture this folder?
Thanks,
Bob
