Outlook Express failed connection

Does anyone know what would cause the following error.

The connection to the server has failed. Account: 'incoming.xplornet.com', Server: 'smtp.xplornet.com', Protocol: SMTP, Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error: 10060, Error Number: 0x800CCC0E

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

Generally this is a timeout error that is often caused by your antivirus or firewall software. Start by checking the server names in the OE account options.
