Does anyone know of a way to create an email rule for mail that is sent to your email address via a BCC: entry? I am getting some Spam mail coming to my inbox yet my email address is not in either the TO: or CC: fields. I am assuming it is coming as a BCC: and would like to automatically delete it.

Any help would be appreciated.

If it were sent as a normal BCC, you would receive it with your name in the To: field. You should find a rule for this condition mentioned in one of these:

Thanks smah for the reply. I did some tests from my 3 email accounts using BCC: addressing. Did a create mail, tools, select recipients, and used one of my other accounts as a BCC: recipient. To me, this is a normal way to select a BCC: recipient. On the sent items side using BCC: the receiver is shown as a BCC: receiver when you view the message in the sent items folder and right click to show the properties and then details. However on the receiver side inbox viewing the properties and details, the email address does not appear in the TO: address or anywhere else in the message. But one of the threads you recommended (Thread605-588858), pointed me to a probably solution. I completely forgot about the "NOT" function in the rules. I now have a rule that says if my email address "IS NOT" in the TO: or CC: fields send it to the SPAM folder. I agree with you thought of not immediately deleting it because you may actually receive mail as a valid BCC: recipient. I also like your method of handling email without a FROM: address.
Thanks again.
