Outlook Express .. checking message for hyperlinks

I have a user that has OE6 Installed.
The other day they began noticing that sending and receiving email was taking a long time.
After looking at the process I noticed that a display message is appearing in the lower left corner of the screen that says "checking message for hyperlinks" when I send or receive.

Any Ideas?

spike i believe OE will scan every email for links and this is the reason it is searching. i noticed the same in emails which are very very long. i get the same thing and it is with only one specific email i receive from my server with a HUGE list of updates..

might be the same case.. check it out.. is there a way to prevent this? havent tried .. its not major for me..
