I have a user running W2K with OE 6.0. Just recently, the entries in contacts list pane suddenly disappeared. By opening the address book, we confirmed everything was there, but nothing would show in the contacts pane; it was as if it was empty.
While looking atthe address book, I happen to notice the number of contacts was just over 1,000. So on a hunch, we began deleting some contacts and voila! Once the number of entries went down to 1,000, everything appeared again in the contacts pane.
So my question: is there any registry entry to edit that will allow for more than 1,000 entries to show in the contacts pane?
Or alternatively, does Outlook 2003 have a higher limit? OR maybe Mozilla Thunderbird?
