OK, here goes.
When I am on the internet, and I want to send a email, usually a "link" to a friend, I go up on the IE toolbar, click on mail, then click on any of the ways to send that particular page. However, it brings up the email page, then I go to the part where it says "TO" so I can send it, the address book pops up, but for some reason my address book starts to "shake, flash, flicker", it won't let me scroll down, as the cursor is going a mile a minute with it showing up as a hourglass figure, it doesn't stop nor slow down. The only time I run into this problem is when I am on a webpage, doesn't matter which one, does it all the time. Otherwise, when I am using my email in Outlook Express, it does not do this. Only when trying to send a page by email. I hope this makes sense.
I have windows 98, IE 5.5, Outlook Express 5, my virus scanner is McAfee 6.0. No firewall as of yet.
Thanks
Sue

Pl. check Microsoft website for bug fix. Another solution is: Start >Run> Type "msinfo32.exe". (Or Start>Accessories>System Tools>System Information) You will get Microsoft System Information window. In the tools menu you will find Internet Repair Tool. Run this and restart the PC. Now trying sending mail.

try this....
Save all your contacts/addresses to a folder somewhere...then
go to Start->Settings->Control Panel and go to Add/Remove Programs.
Then go to the second tab, Windows Setup, and in here sroll down to Address Book. Untick the box and click apply. this will remove the address book. Just for now, go to the web page and try send the link and see what happens.....no go back to add/remove, and windows setup tab, and tick the Address Book, and click apply. This will reinstall the Address book. See if that works....

reinstalling Outlook Express Jay~

My new Tae Kwon Do website is up and running!!
